Building a Fundraising Case for Financial Aid: The Data Can Lead the Way - 2012 CIC Presidents Institute

S&K's Kathy Kurz and President Marjorie Hass (Austin College) presented at the 2012 CIC Presidents Institute on Marco Island (FL), January 4-7.

On Thursday, January 5, Kathy Kurz and Marjorie Hass presented Building a Fundraising Case for Financial Aid: The Data Can Lead the Way.

About this session: Successful fundraising involves a match between the donor’s values and interests and the needs of the institution. Colleges and universities that demonstrate the impact of scholarship gifts in shaping the profile of the entering class can make a strong case for increased donor support. In this session, the methodology behind making this case was shared and experiences with this approach to fundraising were also discussed.
