In 2008, Scannell & Kurz was invited to Anderson University to assess the impact of current financial aid policies on new, traditional undergraduate enrollment results and recommend packaging strategies that would support the University’s desire to increase net tuition revenue, sustain or increase enrollments of traditional undergraduates, and, if possible, increase the quality profile of the class.
Results of Our Work Together
All of these factors have improved since Anderson’s partnership with S&K began. Freshman enrollment has increased from 354 in 2008, to 513 in 2011. Total NTR has increased by $1.7 million, from $3,317,081 in 2008, to $5,015,330 in 2011. Average SAT has increased from 1013 in 2008, to 1080 in 2011.
Client Feedback
“I have had the privilege of working with Scannell & Kurz for approximately 10 years at two different institutions. Both universities experienced tremendous enrollment growth, a stronger freshman profile, higher NTR, and a lower discount rate. In my four years of working with Scannell & Kurz at AU, enrollment has grown from 1,900 to nearly 3,000, the discount rate has experienced a double-digit reduction, and the freshman academic profile has increased dramatically. Scannell & Kurz’s combination of data-driven research, insightful consulting, ongoing accessibility, and their customized approach to working with clients makes them, in my experience, the most effective higher education consulting firm in the nation.”
