Keeping it Real – The Role of Work Experiences in Undergraduate Education

President Jim Scannell spoke at the 15th Annual NAC&U Summer Institute held at North Central College in Naperville (IL).

Jim Scannell presented Keeping it Real – The Role of Work Experiences in Undergraduate Education during a session at The New American Colleges & Universities 2011 Summer Institute held on June 22-24, 2011.

About this session: The creation of career-related, educationally purposeful, experiential opportunities has been part of the undergraduate student landscape for some time. Few institutions have leveraged these programs to reach multiple goals and objectives including: recruitment, fundraising, retention, alumni and employer relations, and financial aid. This session explored alternatives and types of programs that have been successful and made a difference.
